TANGO WEEKEND WITH ADAM CORNET
NOVEMBER 2-4, BUFFALO NY
Adam began his obsession with dance in 2000, when he found tango. The organic movement and improvisational nature of tango appealed to his desire for exploration. The desire to continually experiment and share his own discoveries led Adam to begin traveling and teaching throughout the US. He has a deep and varied background in kinesthetics and movement that he applies to his dancing, ranging from study in the martial arts, to formal education in the fields of medicine and massage therapy. His teaching style is grounded and tactile, as he experiences tango as a physical, reactionary dance. His aim is to make the dance feel good, as well as look good. He encourages his students to be creative, inventive, playful, and musical, as these are the qualities he cherishes most about tango. Adam moved to Boston in 2014 and was invited to teach all around New England. In 2016 he took over as the new owners of Providence Tango in Pawtucket Rhode Island. Adam now is traveling on weekends quite regularly to teach workshops along side his regular weekly classes in Boston, Providence, and New Haven. Adam partnered with Tilia Kimm for three years and has most recently worked with Maria Ines Bogado.
Adam is coming back to Buffalo November 2-4 to teach private lessons. Contact Katya to reserve your spot.
